I started my adoption journey around age 10 when I read a book titled They Came to Stay. It was about a single woman who adopted two little girls. At the time, I thought she was a grown-up. Later, I learned she was 21 and the first single U.S. woman who adopted internationally.
I am blogging to keep a diary of events, my thoughts, and my emotions as I journey to becoming a mother.
I am a consultant, author and speaker who loves inspiring people to pursue their passions and make money! I believe every business can improve what it's doing today to create more success! I also believe every child on the planet deserves a forever family
I am just wondering how you are doing with "waiting" to find out how things are going to go in Guatemala. I hope you are able to if that's what you decide.
Lucinda, I just found your page from Lou's blog....and I read through all of it. I could just bawl.....I can't WAIT for you to be holding YOUR LITTLE GIRL someday soon. The laws have to change soon (I know some people in Guatemala that have shared that things are being worked on right now)!! My hubby and I have been on a crazy journey in Guatemala...and are now adopting little Eliana. I am moving to Antigua in less than 3 weeks. I can't wait!! I will be checking back to see how things progress. Hope you have a great week!!!
